IMPORTANT: Be sure to shut off your auto-brightness under display in your settings and take your brightness level down to about 20%. If you ever feel like tilting the phone is not making the screen brighter, check your brightness setting. I have noticed that it can creep up over time.

1) Change your color by tapping the color bars
2) Tap the color level to change the brightness of the color
3) Set your time using the clock in the upper right corner of the color screen
4) MUST hit the DONE button to activate color screen

This app is the fastest way to change your brightness and screen color settings. Its main purpose is to run in the background and light your screen with the tilt of the phone so you can see the screen better in the sunlight. It is only limited by your phone's hardware.

After all, if you can't see your screen, how are you going to find settings to set your brightness to 100%?

Just set the time on the automatic screen and forget about it. When you need it, unlock your screen, tilt the phone and you are now on your brightest display setting. It's not perfect, but it will add just enough light to see what you are looking at.
